Donate to SUPPORT Widowed WOMEN

As ambassadors of HUMANCULTURE, our student led organization HARP holds fundraisers and events to support Indigenous widowed families in the Global South. Donations provide sustainable access to basic needs: increased food security, access to clean water, new access to health services and education, and economic independence through locally led sustainable projects that preserve traditional culture.

WHY H.A.R.P. NOW?

The Heritage and Resilience Project (HARP) began when Unity Scholars Network connected with HUMANCULTURE and learned about the daily hardships of some Indigenous widowed women living in remote areas across the Global South. When mothers loose their husbands, they are often left without survival support.

As members of HARP, we recognize the women in our lives are the centers of our families and the beating hearts of society. When we learned about widowed families struggling in distant lands, it deeply moved us. We were totally unaware of the extreme hardships of these amazing women.

Once we discovered HUMANCULTURE’s mission and efforts, we were moved to take action. Together HARP decided to put our best foot forward as an ambassador group to spread awareness to a younger audience in the United States and beyond.
