HUMANCULTURE
INTERNSHIP
Summer of Leadership & Global Impact
Each summer, Unity Scholars students are stepping into leadership and philanthropy through a unique partnership with HUMANCULTURE. Rising high school seniors will spend their summer planning and running fundraisers in New York City and surrounding areas to support Indigenous students in remote parts of the Global South, giving them access to education and resources they otherwise lack.
Along the way, interns gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, event planning, marketing, and teamwork, all while making a meaningful impact for students just like themselves, on the other side of the globe. By connecting local action with global opportunity, the program empowers young leaders to learn, grow, and give back in ways that matter.
How OUR INTERNSHIP Program Works
Over 12 weeks, Unity Scholars interns form teams and plan fundraisers in New York City and nearby areas to provide Indigenous students abroad access to education. Students gain real-world experience, strengthen their college applications, and make a meaningful global impact—using their opportunities to help others on the same journey.
