Noltente is a truly exceptional woman, embodying the roles of a mother, grandmother, devoted wife, and inspiring leader within her community. Over the course of two years, we had the privilege of intimately documenting her remarkable personal story.

Noltente's journey took a significant turn when her husband, Oltulo, faced a gradual decline in his health. As circumstances dictated, Noltente found herself assuming the role of the head of the household. What makes her story all the more remarkable is that Noltents took on responsibilities traditionally reserved for Maasai men.

With unwavering determination, she embraced these roles, all the while continuing to provide loving care to her small children and her ailing husband. Noltente's actions serve as a testament to her indomitable spirit and a powerful demonstration that women are the beckbones of family.
